Company Profile

David Cage creates Quantic Dream in 1997.

The studio's first project, Omikron - The Nomad Soul, is published by Eidos Interactive in 1999, winning more than 20 international awards and selling in excess of 600,000 copies on PC and Dreamcast. Time Magazine ranks the game engine amongst the best 10 technologies of 1999.

The game makes history by involving international star David Bowie, who composes the original music and acts in the game.

Between 2000 and 2002, Quantic Dream devotes its time to creating a new format, " Interactive Cinema ", and sets up a production infrastructure compatible with next generation console cycles.

Fahrenheit, to be published on PS2, X-Box and PC early in 2005, is the first project developed with these technologies and in this format. David Cage is again breaking new ground by producing a video game that blends cinema and interactivity.

Quantic Dream regularly collaborates with Microsoft's games division and elaborates new concepts in the domain of interactive narration for the X-Box 2.

The company also has one of the most advanced state-of-the-art Motion Capture systems in Europe. It offers its services and expertise in various forms to the worlds of film, television and video games.

Borne from Interactive Cinema technologies, our unique M3 software is an easy to use tool that empowers film and TV directors in creating digital storyboards and reference cinematic sequences in real time 3D.
